We're pleased to announce that our School to Work Post High School students have created a lovely Valentine's Day soap offer. (Please see details and link to order below.)  

We're excited to share a new video we produced called "The Ivymount Kitchen: A Recipe for Independence" (scroll down for link) that will give you a peek inside one of our programs. Warning: viewing this video might make you very hungry.

Many thanks to our PTA for working to create a new Room Parent program and to organize our second annual school-wide St. Patrick's Day Dance. Please join us for our next PTA meeting this Friday (details and a link to register are also below).

A friendly reminder to parents or guardians about student absences:

Please make sure to report an absence to the school in the morning if your child will not be able to attend school that day.  

Please email: [email protected] 
or call the front office at: 301-469-0223. 
(If the front office is closed, you may leave a voicemail message.) 

Please provide your name, your child's name, their teacher's name and room number, and reason for absence.

Our next PTA meeting is set for this
Friday, January 26th at 1 p.m. 
in the Ivymount Conference Room

Our packed agenda includes rolling out the new 
Elementary/Middle & Secondary Room Parent program 
and kicking off plans for our second annual school-wide 
St. Patrick's Day Dance.
