"Danny and the Shacks"

This year's children's musical, "Danny & the Shacks", is a modern-day retelling of the faith adventures of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Babylon. They ultimately refuse to compromise their beliefs, even when faced with dangerous situations when giving in to the demands and values of Babylon would be an easier (and safer) compromise.
It is my prayer that our kids learn that God calls each of us to have courage and take a stand in different ways. It might be like the Shacks refusing to bow to a false god, or it might look like Danny kneeling and praying to God even when there was a law against it. We will even learn that it may be quietly serving in a place like Babylon where those around you don't serve God. But whatever way God calls each of us to stand, He will be with us, and give us the strength and faith to stand for Him! These exciting stories show faith in God, belief in the impossible, and a trust that God will deliver his people!
Auditions for Solos, Speaking Parts and Choreography Groups

Auditions for "Danny & the Shacks" are Wednesday night, January 31st for kids in Grades 2-5. You can get an audition packet at the parent meeting on Wednesday, January 24th at 7:30 PM.
