Your generous non-pledged offerings (cash and designated checks) on the first Sunday each month support our clergy's Discretionary Account. Frs. Muir and Jenkins use these funds to meet urgent needs within our community, to further the ministries of the church when other funds are not available, and to support community programs and institutions that serve those in need.

Tuesday's Music Live, 30th season continues Tuesday, January 9, with a free concert by The Charlestones at  12 noon . Lunch, catered by It's Official, is available after the concerts by advance reservation. Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinner

Join us for our monthly fellowship dinner, Wednesday, January 10. On the menu: vegetable beef soup, potato soup, cornbread, green salad, and dessert. A reservation is not required; however, if you know you plan to attend, please RSVP to Todd Shafer so that we can be the best hosts.

The Saint Paul's Choir needs basses
The Saint Paul's Choir needs basses. Could this be your contribution to our worship? Please contact Director of Music, Keith Shafer, and let him know of your interest. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 PM and Sunday mornings at 10 AM.
Looking Ahead 
Open Sunday for Altar Flowers
Sunday, February 11 is an open Sunday for altar flowers. This is the only open Sunday prior to Easter. If anyone would kindly like to sponsor this Sunday in honor or memory of someone or "many" someones please contact the parish office. The normal charge is a minimum of $100. What a lovely way to remember or honor someone and contribute to the Flower Guild at the same time. For more information or to inquire about another date in 2018, please contact the parish office.
Saint Paul's YP Monthly Gathering
Sunday, January 21, 7 PMBee's Knees 
Calling all 20-30 something young professionals, grad students, and wayward souls for a monthly gathering at the Bee's Knees for drinks and conversation following the Celtic Service. (Celtic Service attendance is not a qualifier!) We meet every 3rd Sunday for dinner after the Celtic Service to continue the discussion and enjoy the community! For more information, email Ranie.
Annual Meeting

The 268th annual parish meeting and brunch will be held Sunday, January 28, following the 11 AM service. Details will follow. Please mark your calendars.
Pub Theology Rescheduled to February 12
Monday, February 12, 7 PM, Pizza Joint
Due to the College Football National Championship Pub Theology will not meet in January. Mark your calendars for February 12, 7 pm at the Pizza Joint in downtown Augusta! Join a varied group of young(ish) adults to explore some of the "big" questions around our meaning, purpose, and God. We hope to grow in our understanding of ourselves and God as we gather together over drinks (whether coke or ale). We welcome all faiths, but especially focus on the Christian perspective informed by the Episcopal tradition.  For more information please email Ranie.
