Dear St. Bernard’s Families,
We had a great Catholic Schools Week! It started with Mass and Open House and ended with Mass, Grandparents’ Day, and a Rally. We began with the Lord and ended with the Lord. That is the way things are done here at St. Bernard’s. We ask for God’s guidance from beginning to end, and He never disappoints.
Thank you to all the parents who volunteered taking care of refreshments for Open House, driving to Lodi for our Student Council Mass, and preparing, serving, and cleaning up after the Grandparents’ Day brunch. When we work together, great things are possible.
Thank you to our teachers and staff for all their work behind the scenes preparing for Catholic Schools Week. Their love and dedication are greatly appreciated.
Thank you to our students; they are the reason why we exist. We take the responsibility to help them learn, lead, serve, and succeed very seriously. We are honored to have been called by God for such a mission. We can’t wait to see what these young men and women will become for the good of our society and our world.
Another Catholic Schools Week has come and gone, but the celebration of Catholic education continues every time our students show respect, kindness, forgiveness, and love of neighbor in their words and actions. May we all continue to learn with God’s guidance.
Peace,
Patty Paredes
