Covenant Advisor for Property Violations and
Property Concerns

Updated job description attached!

Do you want to play a key role in the revitalization of Oakland Mills? The Oakland Mills Community Association (OMCA) has a job opening for a part-time Covenant Advisor for Violations and Property Concerns. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest and commitment to the renewal of a 50-year-old village near downtown Columbia.

The primary responsibility is to follow a defined process for responding to and resolving complaints about violations of the village Covenants. This requires visits to properties in Oakland Mills; photographing the sites of complaints; arranging corrective action; maintaining a database to document the status of all complaints; and presenting unresolved cases to legal staff at the Columbia Association.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral) are a must. Familiarity with Covenants and the Columbia Association's process for covenant enforcement would be a plus.

The job requires a regular weekday schedule totaling 24 hours per week.   Property visits require driving to sites and navigating terrain in all weather conditions.
