Blessings!
I pray your Christmas and New Year celebration was blessed and filled with love!
December 31st we celebrated the feast of the Holy Family. The readings were very inspiring to me! It gave me all my New Year's Resolutions! I was specially challenged by the 2nd reading: Colossians 3:12-17
12
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
14
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
16
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts
.
17
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Imagine if we all lived like this! What a difference we would see in our families, in our schools, in the workplace and in the world!
I can't change the world, but I can change me and hopefully by my example, I will inspire my family and my friends to do the same! That's the best I can do! And that is all that God has called me (and you) to do! Let us pray that in this new year - 2018 - we can begin to see that we are a Holy Family and that all things are possible with God! Let love begin with me!
Blessings of God's ABUNDANT love, peace and joy to you and your families in this new year!!

NEXT FAMILY NIGHT -
St. Patrick Church Tour for families
January 10th - 4:30 or 6:30
- FAMILY NIGHT -HOW it works!
- At least one parent should be here with your child. If you cannot make it, please designate another parent to guide your child during our Family Faith Activities. We would like to create small Faith Families for the following activities. (no more than 2 or three children per parent)
As you and your child/children see the Church with new eyes, may you all feel more at home at St. Patrick, than you ever have! (Parents: I will give you the answers - so that you can lead the tour! It will be fun for all!)
Family nights are intended for you to learn and to share faith with your children! You learn and they learn in a fun and safe atmosphere!
DID YOU KNOW? You are such an instrumental part of your Child/children's faith development! They can learn about faith at Religious Education classes, but it's how they live out their faith at home that shows them love in action! You make a difference! If you feel you don't know enough.....well, we all feel that way! It takes a life-time to learn more about God and understand our faith better! Just take one Family night or Cafe at a time...
Thank you for all you do to share the love of God with your families! We are here to serve you! Please let me know how best to do that!
