Special Needs Program Benefits From iPad Donation

Sometimes students need a little extra help to better understand their lessons, and technology is a great way to achieve that. 

Wellington Community High School special education students are enjoying some new iPads, thanks to a generous donation from the Jacobs Family Foundation.

Literacy Fest!



The Department of K-12 Curriculum is pleased to announce that there is still time to register for Literacy Fest, which will take place on February 10. You can register for this event through eLearning in PeopleSoft.

To find the course, click the My eLearning tile in PeopleSoft, click "Search Catalog", click "All", then type "Literacy Fest FY18". 

You must enroll by tomorrow, Thursday, February 8. Don't wait, space is limited!

School District Employees Help Promote Breast Cancer Awareness With  Shades of Pink Bus
Two School District of Palm Beach County employees are part of a county-wide campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer and highlight the inspiring stories of breast cancer survivors. 

Deputy General Counsel Shawntoyia Bernard and Tanzanika Lillard, a Human Resources Analyst, will have their pictures on the "Shades of Pink" bus that features portraits of nine African-American survivors of breast cancer.  Read more....

Come Out to The Engineering Family Fun Day on February 10

The Southeast Florida section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will be co-hosting the 10th annual Engineering Family Fun Day ( EF2D ) for Palm Beach County students. 

The event will take place on Saturday, February 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Dreher Park - Pavilion 3 in West Palm Beach.
