Please join us as we celebrate the season with the Library's annual quilt show, on display now through February 15. More than 60 quilts, many created by area residents, are included in this year's show! 

Sedona Public Library has been recognized as a Star Library among its peers for the fourth year in a row by "Library Journal" magazine. Only six libraries in the state of Arizona received this award in 2017. Our sincere thanks to the entire Sedona community--your support enables us to achieve this honor year after year!

This month's donor spotlight is on Steve Ash Plumbing, and owners Steve and Ginger Ash. Steve is the son of Gene and Virgie Ash, who came to Sedona in 1945 and owned and ran Hart's Store--a butcher shop, grocery, and restaurant--through the 1950s (located where Oregano's is now). "I was born and raised in Sedona," Steve said. "Ginger says I am older than the rocks!"

Steve has owned his plumbing business for 45 years. The Ashes support the Library as donors, and Ginger is a library volunteer, but Steve is also one of the original contractors who donated labor to work on the construction of our building on White Bear Road. Steve has been a true-blue community member, donating labor to numerous community construction projects, including the public swimming pool, the ball parks, and soccer fields. Steve says, "I am so fortunate to have so many customers, many who have become good friends."

• Library Orientation: Do you get confused using the library catalog? Have you ever put a book on hold only to get the wrong format? Then here's your chance to clear the fog. On Thursday, January 25, at 11 a.m., the Library will be having an orientation class that will cover the catalog, tricks for managing your account, the website, and many other resources that the Library offers.
