Council Meeting on January 2, 2018
The City Council meeting will be on January 2, 2018 starting at 6:00 pm at the council chambers. To view the agenda click here.
City Offices Closed January 1st
All City Offices will be closed January 1, 2018 due to the New Year Holiday. Regular business hours will resume on January 2nd. 
Snow Ordinance Reminder
Just a friendly reminder before it starts snowing. City Code 60.10.10 states that it is unlawful to park on any public streets during the time of accumulating snowfall and within the 24 hours following the end of the any snow event. Any vehicle parked on the street during a snowfall and within 24 hours after faces the possibility of receiving a $25 fine and tow. The snow ordinance automatically goes into effect when snow begins to fall.
Garbage Collection Delays
Garbage will be picked up on December 30th. Please have your carts at the curb by 7 a.m. There will be a collection delay next week as well, due to the New Year holiday. The collection will be picked up on January 6th. The first winter yard waste collection will be January 6th and the next one will be January 12th. 
Save the Date-City News Hour January 8th
The City News Hour for January 8, 2018 is at 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Windsor Heights Community Center will be the University Avenue redesign concepts. From 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. there will be an interactive presentation on the concept designs for University Avenue. Attendees will be able to do instant polling and provide immediate input on the design amenities and roadway concepts. This concept is the initial concept.  The final concept will be brought back to council in March for approval.  From 6:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m., we will have a question and answer session. During the month of January, we will have the survey online for you to take if you cannot make the city news hour. We are looking forward to your input on the project.
