LCUL, KRP Hosting Important ADA Call on Friday
LCUL has been working closely with Kudulis, Reisinger, and Price Law Firm on aggressive strategies to combat the recent ADA compliance litigation and protect Louisiana's credit unions. Join us for an important call this Friday, February 23 at 8:30 a.m. as we update credit unions on our efforts.

Jonathan Kudulis and Shannon Price will discuss the current status of ADA demands/lawsuits in Louisiana. They will also outline strategies for Louisiana credit unions, as a group, to employ to address the threat moving forward. 

The call will be recorded for those who cannot attend.

NCUA Board Approves $736 Million Share Insurance Distribution in Q3 2018
NCUA The National Credit Union Administration Board held its second open meeting of 2018 at the agency's headquarters and unanimously approved two items:
 
  • A Share Insurance distribution of $736 million to eligible, federally insured credit unions in the third quarter of 2018.
  • A final rule amending the agency's share insurance requirements rule to provide greater fairness, predictability, and transparency and add a temporary provision to govern share insurance equity distributions related to the Corporate System Resolution Program.
The Chief Financial Officer briefed the Board on the performance of the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, which ended 2017 with a net position of $15.7 billion.
