Junior High Students Attend Fairmont Prep Basketball Game
On Wednesday, our junior high students traveled to Fairmont Prep Academy to enjoy a fun-filled day of basketball with their fellow junior high students from the Anaheim Hills and Historic Anaheim campuses.

The students arrived on the high school campus to an exciting atmosphere with cheerleaders, face painting, temporary tattoos, and ---   of course ---   food! The boys varsity team put on an electrifying show during a dunk contest. Many students couldn't believe the height of some of the players ---   standing taller than 6 feet 9 inches ---   and their dunks were NBA-worthy.

The girls varsity team fought hard and beat Avalon 79-21! During the break between games, a few junior high students and one faculty member participated in a shooting contest. Kamran A., Karim D., Ryan G., and our very own Mr. Cameron amassed enough points to bring the victory to North Tustin! Way to go, Eagles, and congratulations to the Huskies for their impressive wins!

Re-Enrollment News
Due to our campus being at capacity this school year, it is imperative that you remind us if you have a current student with a younger sibling who will be age-eligible for our Pre-K program. Our demand for Pre-K is very high, and we want to maintain our loyalty to our current families, so please let admissions know if you plan to enroll any sibling to our campus.

Fairmont Family Night ---   Harlem Globetrotters
Join us for the Harlem Globetrotters game at the Honda Center on Saturday, February 24, at 7:00 pm to see the Anaheim Hills Cougar Chorus and the Historic Anaheim All-Campus Orchestra perform the National Anthem. Look for a flyer coming home with your child soon.

Lost and Found
Our spectacular student services staff braved the excavation of our lost and found items nestled along the patio. If it was labeled, the lost item has found its way back to your child! HOORAY! All items that are not labeled are still waiting to be claimed on the lost-and-found rack located on the patio and in the cubbies. We will hold onto the items for the next two weeks before we donate them.

We do our best to remind our students to keep track of their sweaters and either keep them on their bodies or in their backpacks; however, sometimes our students get wrapped up in serious handball games and leave their sweaters behind. If they are labeled, we will return them. Please feel free to peruse the items in the lost and found and take home your child's clothing and lunch items.

Parent Move-Up Information Meetings
We wanted to take a second to invite you to our annual Parent Information Nights. These are grade-level-specific information sessions that provide insight to the curriculum, daily schedules, classroom practices, and resources as well as the very best part: meeting the teachers for next year. These sessions are held in the mornings and in the evenings on the same days, which allows you to select the time most convenient for you, as both sessions contain the same information. Please join us on the dates listed below.

4th grade into 5th grade
January 23
8:30 am and 5:00 pm
5th grade into 6th grade

Husky Highlight
Huskies Dominate Avalon Games for Supportive Student Crowd
On Wednesday, January 17, Fairmont Prep hosted the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders from the Historic Anaheim, North Tustin, and Anaheim Hills campuses for a day of fun and Fairmont pride.

Hope Husky and the Fairmont Prep cheerleaders greeted the students as they came onto the campus. Once everyone was gathered, the students enjoyed healthy boxed lunches and face paintings. When the clock struck 11:30 am, all of the junior high students entered the Dawg Pound (gym) to watch the boys varsity basketball team dunk contest, the girls varsity basketball game against Avalon, and half of the boys varsity basketball game.

Congratulations to both the girls and boys teams on their wins against Avalon! The girls won their game 79-21, and the boys won 67-14. The pride the junior high students showed for the Fairmont Prep teams was incredible!
