The MDiv has been called both "the gold standard" and "ambitiously comprehensive." Can a single three-year degree program provide both excellent professional preparation for ministry in virtually any context and sufficient academic rigor to qualify for academic doctoral programs? Is the MDiv a foundational or a terminal qualification for ministry? Is adequate formation related to degree duration? In a report summarizing 18 months of work as a group of peers, representatives from six schools examine duration and the reduced-credit MDiv.

American Theological Library Association seeks participants for Research in Ministry user survey
The Research in Ministry (RIM) database contains abstracts of projects and theses from more than 100 Doctor of Ministry, Doctor of Missiology, and Doctor of Educational Ministry programs accredited by ATS. As ATLA prepares to migrate the RIM database to a new platform, they are asking users to provide feedback.
