Save The Date May 9 Gala To Honor Nick Bollettieri & Michael Wilbon 

JTCC annual's Geico Champions Celebration will honor Hall of Fame Coach  Nick Bollettieri and ESPN host Michael Wilbon.  For 9th year the event takes place at the Residence of the Swedish Ambassador in Washington, DC to 
benefit JTCC's Game On! community outreach program, reaching underserved youth in the District. 

Stefan Regalia Crowned 
National Doubles Champion 

Congratulations to 12-year-old Stefan Regalia, shown on the right, on winning the USTA Winter National Boys' 12s Doubles title in Tucson, AZ. Stefan teamed up with Nicholas Mangiapane to win six matches en route to the title. Their most notable win came in the finals as they defeated #1 seeds Quang Duong and Andrew Salu 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. Stefan's victory has earned him a coveted spot in the National Champions section of the Walk of Fame at JTCC.

Andrew Fenty Cracks 
Top 10 In The World Rankings

Andrew Fenty will break into the top 10 in the ITF Junior Boys' World Rankings when the new list is released on January 22. Andrew has made great progress over the past year highlighted by his biggest title to date when he won the Pan American ITF Championships in Tulsa, OK in October. Andrew is currently in Melbourne preparing for the Australian Open Junior Championships which start tomorrow.

Rally in 10 January Progress

More than 40 Rally in 10 students committed to play tennis with JTCC's highly acclaimed Rally in 10 adult beginner program. There has been much enthusiasm displayed in the three weeks program. The next step in the progression is Rally Now which has been well received by the participants.

Denis Kudla Shines Down Under

JTCC alumnus Denis Kudla battled through three rounds of qualifying at the Australian Open in Melbourne to claim a spot in the main draw. He continued his momentum with an opening round 6-7(5), 6-3, 7-6(3), 6-2 victory over fellow American world #44 Steve Johnson. 
In the second round Kudla raced to a two set advantage against #5 seed Austrian Dominic Thiem before ultimately succumbing in five sets after four hours in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. Congratulations to Denis for showing the grit that has made him a world class professional!

JTCC Day of Service Recognizes Martin Luther King Day 

JTCC honored the Martin Luther King Day holiday with a Day of Service activity.  This year JTCC partnered with the Central Kenilworth Avenue Revitalization CDC (CKAR), a service-oriented clearinghouse in Riverdale, who help put JTCC with meaningful volunteer opportunities in the area.  20 members of the JTCC community participated, including players, teachers and staff.  Click on the link below to read more:

Jade Woo's Donation Drive

JTCC Champ, Jade Woo, would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to her donation drive for the Children's Hospital Foundation. The drive was extremely well supported and all the donations are going towards a very worthy cause.

Ajay Pant - "Person of the Year"

JT CC is delighted to share the news that Ajay Pant, former VP of Operations at JTCC, was recognized as "2017 Person of the Year" by Tennis Industry magazine. Ajay is continuing to do remarkable things for the sport in his new role as the National Tennis Director of Lifetime based at the company's national headquarters in Minneapolis, MN.
