New Tax Plan contains "Weinstein" Tax

IRS Says Keep Using 2017 tax tables & forms, until new Guidance is Issued
Washington DC - Not surprisingly, t
he IRS
is still working to develop withholding guidance to implement the tax reform bill that was recently signed by President Trump into law
. According to an IRS statement, it expects to issue the new guidance in January, and employers and payroll service providers will be encouraged to implement the changes in February. In the meantime, companies should
continue to use the existing 2017 withholding tables, forms and systems
.

The IRS plans to issue the initial withholding guidance (Notice 1036) in January reflecting the new legislation, which would allow taxpayers to begin seeing the benefits of the change as early as February.

Most people assume that given a choice between receiving positive or negative feedback, the majority would choose positive. After analyzing the results for a global sample of 8,715 respondents, we discovered that only 22% indicated that they preferred receiving positive feedback, while 66% expressed a stronger preference for receiving negative feedback.
