The School District of Palm Beach County will observe Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on Friday, February 2. Businesses and organizations throughout Palm Beach County are encouraged to show students how their classroom lessons apply in the workplace.
Students from kindergarten through 12th grade may participate in the event. Parents are encouraged to notify their child's school if their child will be absent from school to participate. Absences will be considered excused. Learn more...
Parents of high school juniors and seniors are invited to attend the School District of Palm Beach County's Historically Black College/University and Hispanic Serving Institution Parent Information Night on Tuesday, January 23. The event will take place from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. In addition to learning more about the institutions in attendance, parents will have the opportunity to learn more about financial aid options. Parking is free.

Visit your local Barnes & Noble location between
4:30 and 6:30 p.m. on
Thursday, January 25, for an evening of family fun! When you present the above advertisement at checkout, Barnes & Noble will donate a percentage of your purchase back to the District. The District will use proceeds to purchase additional multicultural texts for schools throughout Palm Beach County. We hope to see you on Thursday night!
