Black History Month culminates with tonight's Black History Month Closing Ceremony , featuring guest speaker Ilyasah Shabazz, daughter of Malcolm X and author of Growing Up X . Throughout the month of March, Stony Brook recognizes Women's History Month with various education, cultural, and social programs. Additional events are offered at the Charles B. Wang Center, Staller Center for the Arts, Humanities Institute, and at other campus locations.
