SCCS OPEN HOUSE
 
This Sunday, February 25, is our annual SCCS Open House for students in preschool through grade 12. From 10:00am - 1:00pm you can visit classrooms, speak with teachers, and tour the campus. The sophomore class is hosting a Pancake Breakfast and the Scholastic Book Fair will be open on the Multi-Purpose Room stage. There will also be 3 drawings for a $250 tuition credit for the 2018-2019 school year! Hope to see you this Sunday.

IMPORTANT PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
If you are a current SCCS family with an incoming preschool student for the 2018-2019 school year, please submit the enrollment forms and fee as soon as possible to secure a spot. 2018-2019 MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING PARENT MEETING
There will be a mandatory parent meeting regarding cheerleading tryouts for 2018-2019 football and basketball seasons on Monday, February 26, at 5:30pm in the Panther Performance Center.   Parents of students currently in grades 5-11 interested in trying out for next year's squad should attend.
 
2018-2019 MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS
Cheerleading tryouts for the 2018-2019 football and basketball seasons will be held on Friday, March 9 from 3:00pm-4:30pm in The Den. There will be 3 mandatory clinics to learn the tryout material. The clinics will be held on Tuesday March 6, Wednesday March 7, and Thursday March 8 from 5:00pm-7:00pm in The Den. If you have any questions, please contact Taylor Burns at [email protected].
 
MARCOS PIZZA NIGHT
SCCS has partnered this year with Marco's Pizza, located at 625 East Perkins Avenue, for a monthly fundraising opportunity. 15% of your total order will be donated back to SCCS, even more if you order online! On Wednesday, February 28, the proceeds will benefit the 6th grade Camp Storer trip. Thank you for your support.

TRIPLE THREAT LEADERSHP PARENT PRESENTATION

PANCAKE BREAKFAST AND BAKE SALE
The SMCC Sophomore Class is hosting a Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale during Open House on Sunday, February 25, from 9:00am-1:00pm. Tickets for the breakfast are $5 and children 4 years old and younger are FREE. Meal includes pancakes, sausage and coffee, milk, orange juice or water.
   
MANDATORY SUMMER WEEK OFF FOR ATHLETICS
This summer, the week of July 1-July 7 will be the mandatory week off for all SCCS/SMCC athletic teams.

BOX TOP COLLECTION DRIVE
Girl Scout Troop 50284 is conducting a Box Top Drive from February 26 - March 2 for preschool through grade 5. Students are asked to bring in an envelope or zip lock bag with their name, teacher's name, and the number of Box Tops inside. The classroom that collects the most Box Tops will win a party!

EDCHOICE SCHOLARSHIP RENEWALS
Any family who is currently receiving the EdChoice Scholarship should have received the renewal paperwork in the mail. If you have not received your renewal forms, or have questions about applying for the income- based scholarship, please contact Mrs. Snow at [email protected] or 419-626-1892, ext. 311. The first application deadline is April 30, 2018.

MANDATORY SENIOR PARENT MEETING
There will be a senior parent meeting on Wednesday, February 28 at 6:00pm in the PPC. Senior projects will be introduced and discussed. Following the senior project meeting, there will be a meeting at 7:00pm for all parents who have students attending the trip to NYC. R&E Tours will be present to go over last minute trip details. All parents are required to attend.
