March 26-28th - We are headed to the
National Healthy Start Association Conference in Washington, DC. Look for our Show Your Love step and repeat. Join our session about best practices using social media to share preconception health messages. We are planning to arrange a CoIIN meet-up - stay tuned for more! Details here.

Care Women Deserve
Care Women Deserve is a coalition of organizations dedicated to educating people about women's preventive services. Their  campaign and resources cover: 1) the importance of women at the center of their care through all stages of life; 2) what is covered by preventive services (including what's available at no out-of-pocket cost); and 3) where to find local services and resources if you are billed.

Show Your Love  Turns FIVE! 
The original Show Your Love campaign rolled out on the CDC and partners' websites on Valentine's Day 2013. Join us in celebrating five years of showing love across the nation!   
If you email SuzanneW@med.unc.edu with a birthday wish, a health message and/or a photo/video, you will be included in a partner round-up.

Deepening our Understanding to Advance Women's Wellness
 
You may recognize The 
Well-Woman Project (WWP) from their call for women's stories last year. When t he  University of Illinois School of Public Health (UIC-SPH)  and  CityMatCH  launched WWP, they recruited young women to share their health stories, a iming to gain an understanding of the barriers women face seeking preventive care as well as the realities of their lives that prevent them from being Well-Women.

The key findings (read here) are important to learn from and activate upon. If you haven't seen their webinar or read their themes and recommendations, it IS a must-read for anyone working in women's health!
