Honors Student Accepted to Prestigious Law Schools

Nikayla Wandelt is an Honors student majoring in International Business at Kennesaw State University (KSU). She will graduate this spring having received acceptances to several impressive law schools across the United States. This includes the University of San Diego School of Law, the University of Georgia School of Law, Baylor Law, University of Florida Levin College of Law, and American University Washington College of Law. Several of these acceptances were also accompanied by scholarship offers.

While at KSU, Nikayla participated in the Great Books cohort through the Honors College which allowed her to study abroad in Montepulciano, Italy. During her sophomore and junior years, she was selected as a  Star Student Scholarship recipient and completed a six-month internship at Walt Disney World. She has also served in various leadership roles for KSU's Italian Club including marketing coordinator, vice president, and president.

I am so very thankful to everyone who has been part of my journey here at KSU, especially my family, friends, and professors. Thank you for inspiring me to action.

Honors Student Accepted to the London School of Economics

Caitlin O'Kelley will graduate this summer with an undergraduate degree in International Affairs and a minor in Legal Studies. She's chosen to further her education and was accepted to the London School of Economics and Political Science where she will pursue a Master of Science in International Social and Public Policy. This program focuses on global level issues including poverty, immigration, and the environment. Caitlin will be specializing in the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) track, which she hopes will allow her to work for an environmentally-oriented NGO.

In addition to participating in the University Honors Program, Caitlin was also a member of the Great Books cohort and published an article in the Kennesaw Journal of Undergraduate Research.

"The Great Books Program was the highlight of my time at KSU, and the professors I have met through the Honors Program are nothing shy of extraordinary. I think the Honors experience allows you to build a more solid relationship with your professors that ultimately results in a more successful academic experience and greater career guidance. I love the Honors Program, and I would do it all over again if I could!"
