FINAL 2 DAYS
For North America's
Largest Indoor Boat Show

The final two days of the 60th Toronto International Boat Show have arrived - and we wish all exhibitors a most successful closing weekend!

A final reminder to those who sell boats this weekend - however large or small - to please advise your customers of our Buy a Boat & Win $10,000 program. We have been promoting the program to consumers and would not want your customer to miss out on the opportunity to recoup $10,000 toward his or her boat purchase.

Please also remember to keep customer safety front of mind, as the weekend draws larger crowds, and many families with energetic kids in tow!

Thank you, and have a great weekend!
MARKETING - BUY/SELL A BOAT & WIN
$100 Dealer Draw Winner

John Gronal (shown here) of Topper Sailboats Canada won $100 on Thursday when he sold a boat, entered a ballot into the 2018 Buy a Boat & Win program, and his ballot was drawn.

A total of 89 boats were sold Thursday by dealers who submitted ballots.

Friday's winner will be announced in the next newsletter.

Click the button below to see how you could win $100, and your customer can win $10,000 toward his or her boat purchase - large or small - at this year's show!
At The Lake - Feeding the Desire
to Get Back on the Water

Thank you to Boarder Pass, Summer Water Sports, and all of the high-spirited team at The Lake for entertaining and inspiring our boat show visitors - feeding their desire to get back on the water as soon as possible!

Thank you also to our 2018 Lake sponsors:
  • BoatSmart - official safe boating partner of The Lake
  • EZ Dock - official dock of The Lake

The Show Office -
Our Organizational Hub

At the heart of the show, our amazing Show Office staff keeps everything running smoothly.

Thank you for another great year!
MOVE-OUT
Be Prepared for Police Presence

Be aware that Toronto Police Services will be present for move-out, checking:
  • licences
  • licence plates
  • VIN numbers
  • dealer plates and paperwork for trailers (If you are towing a boat on a trailer without plates, you must get a trip permit and ensure you have the proper paperwork for the boat - usually a bill of sale from the manufacturer.)
  • insurance and other documentation
  • safety as it relates to loaded trailers, wideload permits, and alcohol consumption
To avoid delays, please ensure you have your plates in order, and all paperwork easily accessible.
Don't Get Tagged & Towed

A reminder that unauthorized vehicles on Manitoba Drive and in the east and west loading docks will be tagged and towed.

Help us to help you! We all want a smooth, efficient move-out, and illegally parked vehicles will impede the flow, causing move-out delays and frustration for everyone.
Take a Break in the Exhibitor Lounge

Located in Salon 102 (just west of the Show Office), the Exhibitor Lounge offers a quiet break from the show, FREE internet service, a microwave for your use, soup, salad, sandwiches, a hot dish of the day, and a selection of beverages.

Today's hot dish is beef stew with mashed potatoes for $14.50.

First Aid Procedures at the Show

If an emergency requiring paramedics arises, please alert any of the following and explain the location.
  • Boat show staff member
  • Show Office (416-263-3185)
  • Information booth staff
  • Lake staff
  • Show security guards (at entrances, exits, roving)
We will radio paramedics and direct them to the location.

If the situation is non-urgent, you can also direct the individual to the Show Office (Salon 103), where paramedics can meet them.
