Celebrate Purim at Temple Sinai

Purim Megillah Reading
K-2 Milestone 
Wednesday, February 28 at 6:30pm
C ome dressed in your best Purim costume and join us for a fun and interactive Family Purim Megillah Reading Service. "Boo" Haman! Sing, laugh, cheer and eat too many Hamentashen! Bring pasta in a box or whole grain cereal in a box to use as a  "grogger."  Your  "groggers" will be donated to a food pantry after Purim. The Megillah Reading is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Andrew Moisoff.

Family Purim Carnival
Sunday, March 4 at 10:00am-12:00pm
C elebrate Purim with your children at our exciting carnival, complete with bubble show, new games, face painting, prizes and family Megillah service. Carnival is open to the entire community - bring your friends!

Purim Shpiel/Cabaret for Adults
Saturday Night, March 3 at 7:30pm
Temple Sinai values your membership and we invite you to enjoy a Purim Party for Adults with our compliments. Bring your friends! Come dressed in costume for a fabulous Purim celebration with live music and refreshments. Suggested contribution for non-congregants $18.

Shabbat Hallelu and  Third Grade Milestone Service
Friday, March 2 at 6:30pm (Rescheduled from January 5)

Each month, accompanied by the Hallelu Klezmer band, the sanctuary comes alive as Cantors Sergei and Elena Schwartz lead us in song, dance, praise and worship. This week they will be joined by our talented Third Graders in leading the Service.

Rabbi Joel Mosbacher, Rabbi of Temple Shaaray Tefila in New York will be speaking about gun violence prevention, a cause close to his heart since he lost his own father to gun violence in 1999. This program is presented in participation with LICAN (Long Island Congregations, Associations, and Neighborhoods), Metro IAF and Partners in Caring (PIC). All are welcome, no charge.

Tzedakah boxes are located in the main lobby and near the sanctuary. All collections will be donated to various organizations.

Please donate packaged Paper Towels for HATZILU. This organization provides food, financial aid as well as support for Jews in need in Nassau County. Feminine Hygiene products, Diapers and Wipes to be donated to "BROKEN NOT DESTROYED".
