The latest news and upcoming events from Romemu
Dear Romemu Community,

Shira Cohler-Esses, beloved daughter of Rabbi Dianne Cohler-Esses (Romemu's Director of Lifelong Learning) and her husband Larry - as well as beloved sister of Ayelet and Eli - is in the pediatric ICU at Mt. Sinai hospital where she is being treated for a brain tumor.

Shira had surgery yesterday, which was successful in removing the tumor, and the family are now waiting for pathology results and further prognosis .

Following Tuesday's prayer service, we invite you to continue to join us in your own private prayers for Shira's full healing and recovery. Rabbi Dianne and Larry invite you to pray in whatever context you choose, and according to whatever custom you find most meaningful. What is most important to them is that all of our prayers rise up as one, and surround Shira with our tremendous collective love and healing energy.

To receive updates about Shira's condition and information about ways to provide support to the family, please visit the following links:

We ask that you please not reach out to Rabbi Dianne directly at this time.

With gratitude and deepest prayers for refuah shleimah for Shira Ilana bat HaRav Dina v'Eliezer.

In Prayer,
The Romemu Team
