Dear Parents,

Re-Enrollment deadline is tomorrow, January 19!

To secure your student's seat for next year, please complete and submit your Enrollment Agreement(s) tomorrow. 
We anticipate waiting pools for several
grades in the 2018/2019 school year.  

If you intend to apply for financial aid, please do not delay! The first round of awards will be communicated late February.

To ensure that you are considered for the first disbursement of financial aid awards, please note key dates below. 
  • Friday, January 19, 2018 - Must havesubmitted Re-Enrollment Agreements  and started application for Financial Aid through FACTS (click HERE to begin).
  • Friday, February 9, 2018 - Must have completed and submitted application for Financial Aid through FACTS.
Please note that 2017 W2(s) are required, and 2016 Tax Returns (y
ou will NOT be required to submit 2017 Tax Returns).

Join us for chapel tomorrow, January 19, at 8:15 A.M. 
Mr. Steve Williams will speak on Courage: One Step Ahead of Fear. The 3rd grade will present grammar jingles they have learned in class.

Mr Williams and his wife Angela have four sons that attend Arma Dei, and he is a member of our Board of Directors. He  served 24 years in the U.S. Army and retired at the rank of Colonel. He graduated from the University of Colorado, and holds a Master's of Science in National Security Strategy from The National Defense University.  

Some of Mr. Williams awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit (2 medals), Bronze Star Medal (2 medals), Combat Air Medal, NATO Meritorious Medal for Operation Medusa, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Canadian Meritorious Medal for the Battle of Panjwai Afghanistan. He is authorized to wear the Combat Action badge, Master Aviator's badge, Parachutist badge, and the Air Assault badge.

Book: The Book of Three by Loyd Alexander

The Winter Good Book Club will be offered for five weeks. Students will read "The Book of Three" by Loyd Alexander. This book was inspired by Welsh mythology and by the castles, scenery, and language of Wales, which the author experienced during World War II army combat intelligence training.  The main character, Taran, feels that nothing exciting happens in his life and that nothing ever will.  And yet, Taran longs to be a hero.

Please RSVP below and include number attending (dad + students) and item to share.   We love you moms but due to limited space, this event is designed specifically for students and dads.

If a dad is unable to attend, grandfathers, uncles, or a friend's dad is welcome to accompany your student.  If your child will be attending with another dad (that is already attending), please just RSVP for (1) and list your child's name when you sign-up.

Speech Meet
The 2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Regional Classical Christian Speech Meet will take place on Wednesday, March 14th at Augustine Classical Academy. This year the top finalists from each class at Arma Dei Academy will compete.

Speech Meet materials went home this week and are also available on the Arma Dei Academy website under the STUDENT tab. The qualifying rounds will be held on March 1st for 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 7th grades and March 2nd for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. These rounds will take place in the chapel and parents are welcome to attend. The schedule of class performances will be available next week.
