MartinLogan Classic ESL 9
The Classic ESL 9 holds a unique place in the MartinLogan Masterpiece series as the most affordable and a very high performance design. The very heart of this exceptional hybrid ESL loudspeaker is the 9.2-inch-wide Curvilinear Line Source (CLS) XStat vacuum-bonded electrostatic transducer. New high performance design allows the MicroPerf stator technology which reveals more of the diaphragm surface area than any other electrostatic panel in this size class, and as a result efficiently increases the Classic ESL 9's panel's output. With it's high performing dual 8-inch low-distortion, high-excursion aluminum cone woofers, the bass response in this hybrid design is seamless and authoritative.

Selling High End Tube Electronics?
You may be selling and servicing high end tube based amplifiers and preamplifiers. When they come from the factory, they generally work right out of the box and perform well until the tubes begin to age. To assure your client achieving continued performance from these products, the tubes must be maintained and replaced as needed. How do you test the tubes?
 Truth be told, you likely have or suggest using a vintage tube tester tube tester that is likely 70 years or older that in fact uses a tube internally [was it recently calibrated and tested] to test your client's tubes. Most are old enough to not easily provide the proper parameters to even test the tubes at hand without some research and compromise. The test results might be variable and questionable. In fact you might not be able to really advise the client on any of the specific performance the tube is delivering. Your client may begin to wonder why you recommended the amplifier or preamplifier in the first place.
The Orange VT1000 is an ultra-portable, fully-automated valve tester. Incredibly easy to use, there are no tables to consult or switches or dials to set. Simply plug in any guitar valve (preamp or power) and watch the progress on the LED indicators as the VT1000 performs more than 20 vital tests. The end result is an indication of whether or not the valve is good, worn, or failing. A matching number is also displayed giving an indication of the valve's remaining serviceable life and its gain and emission qualities. This number can be used to match valve into pairs or quads!
