Dear Parents,

As we enter into the second week of Lent we are reminded of how our faith is always being tested. We are asked to trust in the Lord for He is good and His love is never ending. God knows what we need before we do.

God has chosen a plan for each one of us. Only He knows what that is and although we may not understand what He has in store, our faith helps us to accept the plan and do what is asked of us. In time we grow to trust that the Lord gives us what is best.  He is there with us on that path steering us in the right direction and providing the strength we need along the way.

Quote from Pope Francis:

"God knows better than we do about what we need. We must have faith, because His ways are different from ours."

Faithfully yours,

Miss Giaquinto

Lenten Rice Bowls

During Lent our community will participate in CRS Rice Bowl, a faith-in-action program that invites us to encounter our neighbor, as companions on the journey, through prayer, fasting and almsgiving.
The children received their Lenten Rice Bowls Tuesday.

We will collect your CRS Rice Bowls at the end of Lent, so stay tuned to learn more. Thank you for participating in CRS Rice Bowl with your family.

"Lent is the favorable season for renewing our encounter with Christ, living in His Word, in the sacraments and in our neighbor."                                                                                                  ~Pope Francis
