It is a busy time of year with Purim just two days away and Passover only a month away. To help teach your children about the holiday, all PJ Library books this month will be centered around Passover.

I also wanted you to be aware of a very special event that will be happening in April. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel, Israeli Independence Day ( Yom Ha'Atzmaut)!

 

To celebrate we will be hosting a family concert featuring children's Jewish rock musician Rick Recht on Thursday, April 19, at 6:00pm. Rick is a top-touring musician playing more than 150 concerts a year in the United States and abroad. Kids love his concerts because they can jump, dance, and sing along. And this year, at least five lucky junior rock-and-rollers will win the opportunity to go on stage and sing alongside Rick! Join us as early as 5:00pm to purchase some Israeli food for dinner and to participate in a variety of activities and games.
