Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island
Dear PJ Families,

It is a busy time of year with Purim just two days away and Passover only a month away. To help teach your children about the holiday, all PJ Library books this month will be centered around Passover.

I also wanted you to be aware of a very special event that will be happening in April. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel, Israeli Independence Day ( Yom Ha'Atzmaut)!

To celebrate we will be hosting a family concert featuring children's Jewish rock musician Rick Recht on Thursday, April 19, at 6:00pm. Rick is a top-touring musician playing more than 150 concerts a year in the United States and abroad. Kids love his concerts because they can jump, dance, and sing along. And this year, at least five lucky junior rock-and-rollers will win the opportunity to go on stage and sing alongside Rick! Check out the PJ Library Facebook page over the next month for more details. Join us as early as 5:00pm to purchase some Israeli food for dinner and to participate in a variety of activities and games.

There is no charge for this event, and space is limited. RSVP before April 10 to be entered into a raffle to win $50 off either a week of camp or a birthday party. You will not want to miss this great family time and wonderful concert. Reserve your spot today!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me .
