Movie Night
On Friday, March 2 at 7 PM, we will be hosting a family movie night in the AP Room.
We will be showing the movie Cars 3.  Cost is a $3 donation per person and will help fund transportation for those going to a Youth Conference at Franciscan University this summer.  All SBA family and friends are welcome to attend.  Please email [email protected] with questions.
Hunger Project
Beginning on Monday, March 5, Saint Basil Academy will sponsor a food collection program to memorialize "THE GREAT HUNGER" - a famine that devastated Ireland in the mid-1800's.
Each SBA family is asked to donate one or more canned good or other non-perishable food item to this worthy cause. Last year the schools that participated in this program donated over 8,500 pounds of food, which was distributed to Philadelphia based food banks and Delaware County.  These same centers will be receiving our donations this year.
We are hoping you can help us to continue this growth in 2018.  To participate, we are simply asking that your daughter bring in a non-perishable food item to school, and drop it off at the designated locations.
If you have any questions, please email Sister Germaine.  Thank you for your generosity and support.

Spring Sports
Spring Sport tryouts begin Monday, March 5.  You must have a PIAA sports physical on file in the Athletic Office before tryouts.  The   Sports fee is $150 and must be paid before tryouts.

Shoe Drive
From now until mid-April, SBA will be hosting a shoe drive.  All SBA families are asked to collect 25 pairs of new or gently worn pairs of shoes of all styles and sizes.  These shoes will be donated to individuals in underprivileged countries.  Forty cents for every pound of shoes collected will be donated back to SBA toward the cost of transportation for those students attending a Youth Conference at Franciscan University this summer. Shoes can be brought into Room 28 or sent into SBA c/o Miss Violi.  Please email [email protected]  with questions.
