Honey Leveen, The Queen of Long-Term Care Insurance
Greetings, Dear Friends and Clients,

Client comments like these keep me humble, gratified and passionate about the need for long-term care planning:

"Hi Honey, one of the best days in my life was when you walked through my door and sold me my LTCi. That was almost 20 years ago. I never thought I'd have to use it. I will move to an assisted living facility shortly. Without my LTCi I could never afford it. I am grateful to you." Nancy S, Houston, TX, January 2018

We've always thought that the major cause of women's lower earnings in the workplace was due to the demands of maternity leave and parenting. Why, then, do women continue to earn lower wages through later stages of our careers?

There's emerging evidence that the cause of lower wages is due to the rising trend of women shifting from child care to elder-care.

Facts from Alzheimer's Association research confirm that approximately two-thirds of caregivers are women, and 41 percent have a household income of $50,000/year or less. In 2016, 15.9 million family and friends provided 18.2 billion hours of unpaid assistance, valued at a cost of $230 billion to Alzheimer's and dementia patients.

We now have a broader range of LTC planning options available than ever before. Contrary to media claims, the long-term care insurance (LTCi) industry is alive, well, and profitable. LTCi policies still deliver excellent value. After all, the need for LTC planning and LTCi is not going away any time soon!

Have You Had a Rate Hike?

Usually, even with the rate hike, your policy is below current market price. Clients find it highly useful to discuss what causes rate hikes, how they occur, and how likely there'll be more in the future. If necessary, I can help you find optimal ways to downgrade your coverage while keeping it highly effective.

Do not tamper with your policy until we've spoken! If you need to discuss your LTCi rate hike, please email or call me.

Spreading the Word about LTCi

I very much enjoy invitations to give accurate LTC information to the public. Contact me if I can offer LTC education to your professional, civic, or church group. Click here to read more about my public speaking references.

Happy holidays!
