During this holiday season, it is hard to imagine that so many in the Bay Area do not have a place to call home.  As the charitable arm of the building industry, we understand what "home" means to families and children.  With your support, we will continue to do what we do best and build additional housing for those in need.

2017 was another busy year for HomeAid as we completed 3 more shelter projects for a total of 42 projects in the last 17 years.  Because of your generous support, HomeAid Northern California has helped to rebuild the lives of 8,000 people experiencing homelessness.

Everyone can play a part in ending homelessn ess - you can provide a meal at a shelter, assemble Care Kits, volunteer for a Care Day to paint a shelter, donate materials to one of our shelter "builds" or make a donation to HomeAid.

3 HomeAid Projects Completed in 2017
Because of your support, HomeAid completed 3 new projects in 2017 with another 5 underway for 2018.

According to Irene Kudarauskas, Executive Director of Alameda Family Services,
"HomeAid was the glue that held DreamCatcher together by providing the technical assistance, the project bidding and oversight, raising funds and obtaining in-kind donations and most importantly ensuring a level of professional quality in the final product.  We owe them and cannot adequately thank or acknowledge them for bringing this project to completion."
DreamCatcher Oakland was completed in May after 6+ years of planning and provides 24 beds for homeless youth and sexually exploited minors.  Thank you Richard Walker and XL Construction.

Les Marquis House Hayward remodel provides a dignified and welcoming environment for families experiencing homelessness.  Thank you CalAtlantic Homes for stepping up as Builder Captain.
