Pastor Avis Williams began as an Intern with us during her final year of Seminary. Upon completion of her degree at Candler School of Theology, Emory University, she joined the LOCC staff in 2008 as Pastor of Community Transformation.

From the LOCC Youth Alliance, The Hour of Power, community ministry in Greensboro, Eatonton, and everywhere in between, for over 10 years, Pastor Avis Williams has focused upon actively supporting, transforming, and ministering to our larger community.

Join us Sunday Morning, January 28th, 8:30 a.m.Worship at The Lake Club, Reynolds, Lake Oconee as we communicate our gratitude for her ministry, celebrate her upcoming degree of Doctor of Ministry, and send her off with a Shower of Blessing. Please note that this will occur at the 8:30 a.m. service only.

You may participate in a variety of ways.

First, by your presence.

Finally, please participate in the 'shower' by sending cards, notes, or letters to the same address above - marked for Avis Williams - or drop them in the umbrella as you enter either service of worship the next three Sundays,
