Last fall, we utilized external donations to establish the CoLA Emergency Fund which can offer one-time support up to $500 for students who face a sudden emergency that would prevent them from attending classes. Funding is still available during Spring Semester, so please encourage students who fit the application criteria to apply for this aid. We have recently established another source of support for our students in the form of the CoLA Graduation Fund. This fund can provide a one-time maximum award of $500 for undergraduate students who will graduate at the end of the 2018 Summer Semester and have a compelling need for financial assistance to complete their degree. Please encourage students who fit all application criteria to meet with their academic advisor to further discuss this opportunity.

CLASS and the CoLA Dean's Office has a new social media intern this semester - Sarah Christy. In this capacity Sarah manages the social media platforms for CLASS, CoLA, CELIA, and ARTSGALA. She is very involved on campus and earned the Established Student Leader award from the office of Student Activities this past year. She also currently serves as the college Panhellenic President and the Director of Marketing for Raiderthon. Her social media experience is extensive, as she has worked as the Director of Public Relations for the college Panhellenic Council, the Vice President of Public Relations for Kappa Delta Sorority, and the social media photo and video producer for Wright State's Office of Marketing.
