ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Ryan Vulakh, Junior, Wrestling

Ryan Vulakh '19 placed 1st in the 145 weight class at the Pioneer Athletic Conference wrestling championships on Saturday at Boyertown High School to become PJP's second ever PAC Wrestling individual champion. Interestingly it was his brother Matt who became the first ever PAC Champion at the 106 weight class earlier in the day. Ryan was also awarded as the tournament's Outstanding Wrestler. He is currently ranked #1 in District 1 AAA as the team heads into Districts this weekend at Spring-Ford High School.
Weekly Highlights
The GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM lost to Radnor 62-45 in the first round of districts. The team went 13-11 on the season, and came away as the Frontier Division Champions, PAC Championship qualifiers, and District qualifiers. Congratulations on a great season!
The CHEER TEAM hosted the 8th Annual Cheer Competition on Sunday February 18th... 30 teams came from all over the area to compete over the course of the day... The last session of the day included PAC schools for the First ever PAC Cheer Championship... The JV squad placed 2nd and Varsity squad placed 3rd...Congratulations to all the girls on their hard work through out the season, especially the Seniors pictured below....
The WRESTLING TEAM traveled to Boyertown this weekend to compete in the PAC Championships... Matt Vulakh 21' placed 1st in 106... Ryan Vulakh 19' placed 1st in 145.. .Jack Files 19' placed 2nd in 195... Nick Boyce 17' (pictured below) placed 6th in 126...
