Restaurant Week in Biddeford & Saco - March 17th - 24th

Every year, Heart of Biddeford, Saco Main St., and the Chamber partner to promote
Restaurant Week, a celebration of the incredibly diverse and exciting dining scene we have here in Biddeford & Saco. There are special offers from participating restaurants all week. There is also a "Community Souper" fund-raiser for local foodbank charities to kick off the week at 5:00pm on March 17th at the Pepperell Mill in Biddeford.

Emerging Leaders is a
FREE
executive-level training program that provides tools and resources to help small companies sustain and grow. It is an intensive entrepreneurship education series for small businesses that have the potential for quick growth and job creation. The initiative has been a change-maker in increasing opportunities, providing participating businesses with a framework that helps to form sustainable companies and promote economic development. 21st Annual Mary's Walk and Kerryman 5K, Sunday, March 24th, Thornton Academy
Mary's Walk is one of the largest cancer fundraisers in the state of Maine, raising over $3.3 million since its inception in 1999. Mary's Walk remembers Mary Kery Libby, who lost her battle with Burkitt's lymphoma in 1997. The fundraising supports Maine Cancer Fund's Challenge 2020 initiative. For more information,

Thornton Academy Fund Auction

Thornton Academy is planning its 12th Annual Thornton Fund Auction for Saturday, May 4, 2019 and invites your business to contribute to this successful event.
The auction is Thornton Academy's largest fundraising event and draws a crowd of nearly four hundred attendees. All auction proceeds support the Thornton Fund, a cause that provides assistance to students in need, renovates campus buildings, invigorates the arts, and supports athletic department programming. Our independent school status excludes us from taxpayer funds for many initiatives so all funds must be privately raised or borrowed. There are many ways your business can support this event, including: Donating an Item or Service, Serving as an Event or Item Sponsor, Placing a Program Ad, or Purchasing a Raffle Ticket.
