RIBBON CUTTING AT MILT'S EXTRA INNINGS

Join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the newly opened Milt's Extra Innings (3409 N. Broadway) on Monday, January 22nd at 3pm. 

Cheesie's Pub & Grub will be expanding their current location into the building next door that used to house Blackwood BBQ. The expected completion of this expansion is slated for Spring 2018.

Chicago Restaurant Week 2018 is is taking place January 26 - February 8!

The 11th annual culinary celebration features special prix-fixe menus starting at $22 for brunch  and lunch, and $33 and/or $44 for dinner (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity).

SIDEWALK CAFE APPLICATIONS
 
Now is the time to turn in those Sidewalk Cafe Applications for the 2018 year! Sidewalk café season begins on March 1st, and ends on December 1st. Sidewalk Café Permits have a 9 month term, and must be applied for, and issued, every year. The sooner the better in order to assure you can set up your cafe at the beginning of the season. 

 
WELCOME NEWEST CHAMBER MEMBER!
At Bonus Round Game Caf é, they love board games and believe in their power to bring people together. Opening at 3230 N. Clark St. in the next couple of weeks, guests can enjoy an array of board games while dining on caf é fare and sipping on Dark Matter coffee. Bonus Round Game Café is a place where guests won't feel judged for their lack of knowledge or skills, instead they come to to the cafe for a little fun and encouragement. Join us in welcoming Milt's Extra Innings as a new member of the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce. Milt's Extra Inning opened  next door to and by the same owner as Milt's BBQ for the Perplexed at 3409 N. Broadway. Milt's Extra Innings is a place for convenient, delicious food that offers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities meaningful employment.

City of Chicago BACP Free Workshops 
The Department of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection (BACP) offers workshops every Wednesday and Friday. Workshops vary each month and are conducted by City Officials, experts and partner business organizations. All workshops are free, and open to the public. Workshops are held at BACP's offices located at 121 N.
