Make the most of today. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Planning is important and I am, in no way, advising against it. It is what allows us to make the most of our lives.
At the same time, we shouldn't focus all of our efforts on the future. I have seen, all too many times, people living for the day they retire, working to amass the funds necessary for a great retirement only to die before they get to use them.
Better, a life balance, enjoying every step in the journey, doing what you enjoy. Work is not really work if you enjoy it. Work that focuses on helping others along their journey is much more rewarding than work hated and just performed to provide for that elusive destination.
Do something you love and you will never work a day in your life. You will be living and loving the journey.
Have a great week.
