TIERF Representatives Meet with Pope, Deliver Mobile Hospital Units
Representatives from The Italy Earthquake Relief Fund, including TIERF President and VCF Board Director Eligio Gaudio, Villa Charities Foundation Board Vice Chair Sam Ciccolini and VCF Board Director Toni Varone, attended an audience and blessing with His Holiness Pope Francis on December 22, 2017. Two mobile hospitals purchased by TIERF were blessed by Pope Francis
and delivered to Amatrice and Norcia,
two communities hardest hit by the
central Italy earthquakes in 2016/2017.

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, January 29, Villa Charities, in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, presents a free screening of the documentary "The Maestro" at the Spadina Theatre. The film follows Francesco Lotoro and his quest to discover and record music composed clandestinely in World War II camps.

Villa Charities Presents Free Screenings of Opera Performances
Join us as we present, in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Toronto, two free screenings of world-class opera performances composed by
Giuseppe Verdi and performed by the
Teatro Regio di Parma. Macbeth will be screened January 25 and Rigoletto will be screened March 1. Both will take place at the Spadina Theatre.
