Shabbat Matters with Kay Abrams at 10:20 AM in the Double Classroom
How do we pass along the Jewish sensitivity towards Achrayut/accepting responsibility-to care, to act, to step up? How will we transmit this work ethic, this feeling of noble mission, to our young citizens so that it becomes a significant part of their innate sense of self and their vision of the other?

The Foundation for Jewish Students presents "The New Face(s) of American Jewish Life" with Rabbi Sid
at 7:30 PM in the Sanctuary
Rabbi Sid Schwarz does pioneering work uncovering organizations across North America that are re-inventing conceptions of Jewish identity and Jewish life. Many of these organizations are operating under the radar of the organized Jewish community, yet they are attracting the generation of American Jews who are, for the most part, bypassing the legacy institutions of the organized Jewish community. This session will provide insight into the people and ideas that make these "Covenantal Jewish Communities" exciting, hopeful and inspiring. RSVP here.
