Our New Secondary Principal, Angie Adams

Angelica M. Valdez Adams was born and raised in Laredo, TX.  She graduated in 1998 from Lared o United High School.  She pursued her B.A. in Education from Texas A&M Corpus Christ i, and after graduation in 2002 came on a recruiting visit to Fort Worth ISD.  She loved Fort Worth, accepted a position, and began her teaching career as a Middle-School Math Teacher at Forest Oak Middle School later that same year.  She grew into leadership while at Forest Oak, and became the Algebra Readiness Math Coach and Math Department Chair.  After transferring to Rosemont Middle School to continue her math coaching duties for one year, she was promoted to a Secondary Math Instructional Coaching Position, and coached teachers and students for 3 years at the District Level.  She also earned her M.S. in Educational Leadership from UTA during her tenure with FWISD.

In 2015, she left FWISD to become the Spanish Teacher at Temple Christian School. She currently teaches Spanish, Math, and is the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach and track coach.  Angie loves the Lord with all of her heart, followed by her husband, Tim, her three boys: Aidan (10), Cristian (7), and Evan (4), and her dog, Toby!  She and her husband also serve as the Children's Pastors at Crossroads Tabernacle in Arlington.  She is extremely excited to partner with NCA in its ministry of "equipping students to live a life of service that glorifies God and eternally impacts the world."
