Following his retirement from the US Department of State, Nick and his wife, Pat (a multi-media artist) moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, where he began a second career as a photographer and professional scuba diver.  Nick continues to work and travel throughout the world, giving him the opportunity to photograph a wide array of countries and people and do underwater photography at some of the best dive locations in the world.  He is a member of a number of local art groups and displays his photography at several galleries in the Myrtle Beach area.  He has also recently begun writing and publishing both photographic and written novel books.

  • 2015 - Published a new book entitled "What is Time? And Other Things to Think About" 
  • 2014-2015 - Artist in Residence fo the State of South Carolina State Park Service
  • 2014 - Published "Masai Mara - A Photographic Safari" and "Masai Mara Revisited" - Available on Amazon.com and Presto Books
  • 2014 - Published an autobiography entitled "For God and Country - Memories of a Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent" and "Letters from a Sailor" which chronicles his father's Navy service in the 1930's
