Resume and Cover Letter Workshop
Thursday, March 1, 1 - 3 p.m.
This workshop, taught by workforce specialists, will cover many aspects of creating professional and effective cover letters, resumes, and reference lists.  For ages 15+.
Registration recommended. Drop-ins welcome.

SAT Strategies with Princeton Review

Saturday, March 10, 2 - 3 p.m.
Want to get ahead on the SAT? Meet a Princeton Review expert who will go over test content, walk you through sample questions, and show you score-raising strategies to use on test day. For ages 15-19.
Registration REQUIRED.

Balancing Act with WOW! Children's Museum
Tuesday, March 27, 1 - 2 p.m.
Have fun exploring and manipulating the placement of weight in objects and in your body to learn more about the science of balance. Make a balancing craft to take home. FREE! For families with children  ages 3-8.
Drop in any time during the hour in the Eisenhower Room.

Romping Stomping Dinosaurs with WOW! Children's Museum
Wednesday, March 28, 2 - 3 p.m.
Practice counting & comparing. Hold Spike, our baby Stegosaurus and compare your foot to big & small dinosaur tracks. Pack a dinosaur's lunchbox and make a dinosaur fossil craft to keep. FREE! For families with children ages 3-8.
Drop in any time during the hour in the Eisenhower Room.

Kabuki Sushi
For Kids Ages 6-12: Thursday, March 29, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
For Teens Ages 13-17: Thursday, March 29, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Chefs from the Broomfield Benihana will teach you how to prepare and roll sushi. You will practice Japanese dining etiquette and get to eat your own creations!
Kids registration REQUIRED. Teen registration REQUIRED.

Trivia Night - Books!
Thursday, March 29, 6:30 - 8 p.m. 
Game on! Delight in the coming of spring and the end of winter reading with some rousing literary trivia. Bring a team or friend or come on your own. Good fun for all readers.  For ages 15+.
Registration preferred.

Petra Music Workshop
Saturday, March 31, 9 - 11 a.m. 
Join members of the instrumental/orchestral rock band Mother Falcon for a special 2-hour workshop for tweens. We will explore famous examples from film and TV scores like The Lion King and Jaws and then compose our own musical piece as a group! No musical experience required. FREE!  For grades 4-8.

PETRA AND THE WOLF
Saturday, March 31, 2 p.m.
Broomfield Auditorium
Creative Broomfield presents Lionheart Youth Theatre's Petra and the Wolf. Staging and Puppetry By Glass Half Full Theatre. Original score performed live by Mother Falcon.

With captivating large-scale puppetry, this original work introduces the mischievous but fearless Petra, the granddaughter of the fabled Peter. When a wolf threatens her home and animal friends, her adventures become a showcase of bravery and compassion.  Best for 1st grade and up. All ages welcome.

Broomfield Library Makerspace GRAND OPENING!
Saturday, April 14, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Make. Connect. Imagine.
Save the date for the Broomfield Makerspace Open House! The makerspace is an all-ages c ollaborative workshop dedicated to hands-on making and community learning. After April 14, you can register for workshops, join an interest-based meet-up, or bring your own project to work on during open lab hours. The space includes a laser cutter, 3D printers, sewing machines, electronic cutters, small board electronics, and more!

Pizza & Prose: Dystopian Writing
Sunday, April 15, 1:30 - 4 p.m.
Writers, dig in and create your own dystopian world that stands out from the crowd while you enjoy free pizza! For ages 11-1 8 .

Let's Talk: Parenting in the Early Years
Sunday, April 22, 1 - 4 p.m.
Join us for an afternoon exploring parenting in the early years. Topics will include postpartum depression, challenging behaviors and positive discipline strategies, and infant and toddler nutrition. For ages 14+.

Make-It Monday: Bird Feeders          
An enthusiastic crowd of 11 first-time Make-It Monday attendees re-purposed recycled water bottles and pencils into bird feeders. There were seasoned birders and novices alike. Take a look at more photos on our Facebook page.



Story Walk
