District Awards Banquet

Welcome to 2018, Bee Cave District! The best way to start a new year is to look back with respect, and honor all our adult volunteers who made Scouting in the Bee Cave District such a wonderful program for our youth. With that in mind, we are inviting all our leadership to come share in fellowship (and a delicious Texas BBQ dinner from It's All Good BBQ) while we announce and bestow our District awards for the Stinger, the Bronze Bee, the District Award of Merit, and recognize our Cub Scout and Boy Scout of the Year! The cost is just $25 per person, with a great discount for a full table of 8 for just $160! Please be sure to invite all your Stinger award recipients to join you!

University of Scouting
Saturday, January 27, 2018
Over 100 classes in 5 different "colleges" will be offered at the ACC Eastview Campus, including dozens of new classes this year. This year will also be the first year for Unit Committee College, with special classes ranging from finance, to fundraising, to recruiting. Sign up for anything that interests you, from Weird Science to Dutch Oven Cooking to Skits & Songs and more.

NRA Rifle Instructor Training
Jan 19-20 and Jan 27, 2018
The Council is offering the 17 hour course to complete all requirements to become an NRA Rifle Instructor. The training includes both classroom and range time. The training is in two phases. Phase 1 is the Basic Instructor Training and Rifle Instructor Training. Phase 2 is at the range demonstrating shooting proficiency. Both phases must be completed to be certified.
