Fun at Muffins with Moms!

| Thanks to Heritage H.A.N.D.S. and all the volunteers who helped make this morning's event a success and to all the moms who came out to have muffins/donuts with their children! It was a lot of fun!

 EFE is next Friday! A sneak peak listing of the Silent Auction items is coming home in Friday folders today. The silent auction begins at 5pm followed by dinner at 6pm. WE NEED WEDNESDAY LUNCH SERVERS!

 Can you spare 1 1/2 hours each Wednesday to serve lunch? We are looking for a lunch server for Wednesdays beginning immediately. The time commitment is from 11 am until 12:30pm. Volunteers will need to complete the Volunteer Application/Background check online before serving. If you are interested, please contact Brenda Wichhart at [email protected]. If we cannot secure volunteer servers we may need to discontinue offering lunch on that day.

Spring Work Day - Saturday, March 24

 Mark your calendars for a spring work day at the school on Saturday, March 24 from 8:30am - 12pm. We hope to have all hands on deck to help get the building and grounds in tip-top shape before our ACSI accreditation site visit team arrives in April. Be watching your email for a Sign-up Genius link to sign up for various projects around the school.

No After School Care on Friday, March 2
|
There will be NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE from 3:30 to 5:30pm on Friday, March 2, 2018. This will allow our After School staff (and all of you) enough time to prepare and get to Bella Sala for our Educating for Eternity Event that evening. Pre-K after school will still take place until 3:30pm that day. This will only affect those in after care beginning at 3:30pm.

Summer Camp Opportunities at Heritage throughout June and July

Thinking about how to keep the kids from getting bored this summer? Check out the camps being offered at Heritage in June and July. Whether your child is interested in
art,
drama,
board games,
coding, or
robotics, we have
something for you. We encourage you to register your child soon as space is limited for these camps.
All registrations and payments for the art, drama, and board games camps (checks payable to Heritage Christian School) must be received by May 15th by contacting the office at 319-626-4777. To register for the Minecraft Mod Exploration and Creation, click here. To register for the Programming or Robotics Course, click here. Your child will need to provide their own lunch for each of these camps.

Basketball Uniforms are to be turned into the office by Friday, March 2nd. They should be clean and in a bag with their name on it.

Track sign up Deadline
Items Needed:
- Athletic Forms if you have not filled one out for any other sport this year. (These can be found on the Sports board outside the gym.) Make sure physicals are up to date.
- $40 Athletic Fee
- Order and $ due for track shirts by March 5th. Sheets for these orders will be given out March 2nd.
- First day of practice is March 20th.
Mrs. Keel will be out of the school for a week. If you have any questions regarding track, Sarah Franje is the one to talk to.
