Currently the director of Public Works for the City of Pueblo, Wilkinson has more than 26 years of experience managing stormwater, wastewater and water divisions in multiple municipalities, as well extensive planning, design and construction experience. He has served on numerous committees and boards where he established a customer-service approach to building trust and confidence with staff, politicians, consultants, citizens and other governmental agencies.

"I'm thrilled to be selected to be a part of the Colorado Springs Utilities team," said Wilkinson. "I look forward to working in an organization that is an industry leader in municipal utilities."

Caring for our Community

Connecting with our community is a big reason why so many of us spend our personal time volunteering.

Among the highlights from 2017 are the more than 5,500 meals delivered to homes through Project Angel Heart and the more than 4,700 meals served at the Marion House Soup Kitchen. We also provide information on how to use our services safely and efficiently. Last year we launched Change the Current and distributed about 24,000 LED bulbs to our customers.

To learn more about our community connection, see if you or your organization qualifies for assistance or to take the pledge to Change the Current, please visit csu.org.

Powering Colorado Springs through community ownership

"Community ownership means we are accountable to every one of the citizens that we serve to ensure that their utility services are safe, reliable and we give those utility services to them at a very affordable price," CEO Jerry Forte.
