Welcome to the SBA Alumnae newsletter.
The experiences you had while at Saint Basil Academy connect all of you in a very special way. The Alumnae issue of E-News will be published every other week to keep you well informed of all the wonderful happenings at SBA, and among each other. We welcome you to send us updates of your accomplishments and milestones.

The office of Institutional Advancement is looking for Alumnae to take on the role as "class captains". As a class captain, we ask you to support the academy by acting as a liaison between your graduating class via social media, phone calls or emails to share the happenings at SBA. Class lists will be provided and we welcome more than one alumna per class. To sign up please email Mrs. Samantha Angelone and provide your name (including maiden name) and class year and we will get you started.

The Basil Business Alliance (BBA) is an exclusive alliance for Saint Basil Academy Alumnae only to:
- Provide a professional networking forum
- Create new contacts and connections among alumnae
- Provide a platform for self-marketing
- Facilitate the marketing of businesses owned and operated by alumnae
- Develop an exclusive directory for alumnae
- Provide professional development through guest speakers

At this meeting, you will discover how the BBA will help you grow, not only personally but professionally as well, and help you reconnect with your Basil Sisters. Whether you have been in the workforce for years or are a current college graduate, this networking event is a great opportunity for you.

There are still a few tickets available for Designer Bag Bingo on
February 25, 2018. Doors open at noon and play will begin at 1:00 pm. Extra games and
50/50 cash games will be available for purchase. Michael Kors, Kate Spade,
Vera Bradley and Coach bags are up for grabs.

March Madness comes to SBA!
Join your fellow Basil Sisters in participating in
SBA's 2018 March Madness
Alumnae Giving Challenge
How it Works:
- Alumnae will be grouped by year of graduation
- Teams will be formed in groups of graduation years- e.g. 2013-2012-2011-2010
- There will be a total of 16 teams starting from the Class of 1950 and ending with the Class of 2013
- The donation challenge will start on March 1st and end on March 31st.
- Points will be assigned for the following categories:
Prizes will be given for total of first time donors.
Prizes will be given for the largest individual gift.
Prizes will be given for the team with the most total dollars accumulated.
Prizes will be given for the most alumnae participation.
- THERE IS NO ELIMINATION - EACH CLASS IS ELIGIBLE TO MAKE DONATIONS FOR THEIR TEAM FROM MARCH 1 TO MARCH 31.
*Prizes will be awarded to the team and the class with the most accumulated points! These prizes will be given out at the Second Annual Basils at the Beach event on
Saturday July 28, 2018 at Flip Flopz. Everyone who participates in the March Madness Alumnae Giving Challenge will receive a tee shirt given out at Basils at the Beach.

Congratulations Catholic Academy League Champions!
SBA beat Villa Maria 38- 35. It was a great game!
Our team will play in the first round of District playoffs tonight (Friday, 2/23) at 7 pm vs. Palmerton High School. The game will be played at La Salle High School. Please come out an support the team!
