Center for Innovation & Research
NJHSA's Center for Innovation & Research is in the development process and aims to be an array of resources the Network could apply to help Members transform ideas and opportunities into actions through collaborations and partnerships with start-up companies, universities, foundations and corporations, philanthropists and government.
-
Thoughts on Getting Started
-
We have this great idea, but we're not sure how to test it?
-
We have this pilot going, and it looks great, but how do we transform it into a fully functioning and funded program?
-
We have this amazing program. How would we figure out if other Network member agencies are interested in doing something similar?
-
We're thinking about creating a new technology or service to extend our expertise to others. Does that make sense?
As a first step, the answer is simple - contact the Network and ask. As many of you know, we're in the process of creating a Center for Innovation & Research, and we've adopted a "learn by doing" approach. Since our kickoff meeting at the October Executives' Conference, we've taken steps to engage with a few Network member agencies. The projects include testing new software packages, replicating existing programs, validating new approaches, and, of course, securing funding to move these efforts forward.
If you're interested in determining whether the Network's Center for Innovation & Research can help advance your idea, process, program, or technology, or you just want to learn more, contact
Reuben Rotman, Network CEO to explore further.
