We're excited for the Olympics!

This month, we're sharing the event we're most looking forward to seeing in the  XXIII Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang

Barb - I love the Olympics!! One of my favorite Olympics was the year my daughter Cady was born and I watched the winter Olympics in the hospital. I think my favorite thing to watch is the ice skating. I love to dance and Cady grew up dancing on two different dance troupes so I can relate to the technical skills it requires. I also LOVE watching the skiing!

Lisa - I'm looking forward to the figure skating events this year. There will probably never be as much drama as in the days of Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan, but the commentary by Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinksi makes it pretty fun to watch!

Dana - Hockey! My older brother played hockey and there were many early mornings in cold rinks - I gladly watch from the living room now.

Karen B - Hard to pick just one event! I am excited to see the U.S. Women's Ice Hockey team compete (the NHL barred the men), and I love seeing returning athletes Shaun White (snowboarding) and Lindsey Vonn (Alpine skiing). I am anxious to watch Chloe Kim, the 17-yr-old Phenom from CA-she is adorable and fearless! Here's our snowboarding team:

Karen E - I love downhill skiing and am really excited to see Lindsey Vonn compete at the Olympics. I admire her grit and competitiveness - she crashes skiing at 50mph downhill, is airlifted off the mountain, endures several surgeries and months of rehab and is back at it. I find that so inspiring!

Timmy - I am looking forward to snowboarding - I am a Shaun White fan!

Sarah -  I am looking forward to the bobsled events! I have to give a shoutout to the Nigerian women's bobsled team for joking that their sled is named 'Cool Bolt' after the movie Cool Runnings and sprinter Usain Bolt.

Brittany - I enjoy seeing everything. I like how expressive figure skating is and always look forward to bobsled. But I also can't wait for snowboarding, skiing, and hockey!

February 2018

From the Desk of Barb Clapp...
I have the tremendous pleasure of living my dream every day. For the past 17 years, I've owned and operated my own communications company. I've worked very hard to attain this dream and have succeeded more than I imagined with my team. It's been a long hard journey but such a beautiful dream come true.
It's important to me that people discover what they're passionate about and find purpose in what they do. I've made it my mission to help others achieve their dreams, create a place for all living beings, and make my community better. In today's challenging news climate, we must help one another and all strive for a brighter future. So this month I'd like to ask everyone, what are your wishes, hopes and dreams? How will you create a better future?
