This Weekend at Hope: NEW SERMON SERIES!
The Jesus Run | Go Fish! | Matthew 4:17-20
Good Morning Hope!

My bucket list has grown longer over the past couple weeks. Now on my list is curling, Super G, and luge! The Olympics just seem to have a way of pulling me into the pursuit of a better life.

As Christians, Jesus tells us that where we want to become great we must become the least and Jesus' life has a way of pulling us into his better life. It's more than a bucket list item.

The kind of life Jesus teaches us to live is filled with three excellent disciplines of prayer, fasting, and giving. In the 40-day season of Lent we focus on these daily practices. Here is the lineup for our best 40 days of life together as we lean into God's grace...

Prayer
- Invite a few friends to gather in a Life Group and watch six great teachings on prayer. Then discuss and pray together. Connect to God through prayer and he will connect to you.

Giving / A Home of Hope
-Ask God to turn your heart toward those in need and give. He will use your giving to bring new life to others. God will remind you how much you need his grace and love. The Hope 2018 Lenten Project is an excellent way to do giving.

Fasting
- Deny yourself daily of something this season (coffee, foul language, time spent on a hobby, etc.) and during this time when you are reminded that you are actually sacrificing something turn to God in 40 Days of Devotions.

This weekend at worship we begin our new teaching series, The Jesus Run. Let's get started.
