Upper Makefield Business Association (UMBA) for a FREE “Meet & Greet” Event

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14, 2018 at 6:30PM at the Washington Crossing Inn.

UMBA is actively seeking individuals, families and local businesses as new members to help us grow our ability to help others in our community. 

WHAT DOES UMBA DO?

1. Scholarships - UMBA has bestowed scholarships to individuals attending University, College and Technical Schools since 1987 (31 years) with over $150,000 donated in recent years;

2. Fire Department - UMBA’s original members helped start our volunteer Fire Dept.;

3. Township Emergency Fund - UMBA has donated over $79,000 in recent years to the Township Emergency Fund, which is used to support the needs of the Fire, Police and Ambulance Service;

4. Sunshine Fund - UMBA has a Sunshine Fund providing financial assistance to individuals and other organizations in need;

5. Revolutionary Run - UMBA hosts the Annual Rev Run on July 4th with funds raised going to the Scholarship and Township Emergency Funds;

6. Washington Delaware Monument - UMBA partially funded and help maintain the monument of Washington crossing the Delaware outside the Washington Crossing Inn.

We meet once a month for a 3 course dinner at the Washington Crossing Inn and the cost is included in our annual dues.  If you love where you live and want to help promote what makes our area so unique, please come out and meet us and learn more.
