It's a brand new year, what are you going to do with it? We are starting out strong in the libraries, with our Party in the Club series for kids & families at Prior Lake, and early literacy classes, storytimes, and other regular events resuming after the holiday break.

Please note: Libraries are closed Monday, 1/15 for Martin Luther King Jr Day.

Upcoming Happenings

Party in the Club Kickoff January 13!

Kids and families are invited to the kickoff of our 2018 Party in the Club lineup with Kidsdance! Drop in from 10:30-Noon and pretend it's summer - dress in your best beachwear for this funfest DJ show with great family music, dancing, contests, prizes & more!

Warm up your family's winter with all three "Party in the Club" FREE events designed to get families out of the house and moving! All events take place from 10:30-Noon and are free and open to the public, no registration required:
1/13: Beach Party with Kidsdance
2/3: Superhero & Football Party
2/24: Pajama Party with the Teddy Bear Band

Winter Early Literacy Classes

& Storytimes Resume in January

Early literacy is what your child needs to know about reading and writing before they learn to read & write. Let the library help develop your child's early literacy skills with the five practices of Talk, Sing, Read, Write, & Play at our Early Literacy classes and storytimes

Library Lego Time on 2nd Tuesdays at 3:30 at Jordan
Yoga Storytime with Fran on Thursday 1/11 & 11/18 at 10:30am at Shakopee
Stories with Grand Readers on Saturdays at 10:30am at Prior Lake
Spanish Storytime on 3rd Tuesdays at 6:30pm at Prior Lake
