Chinese New Year
The Chinese animal zodiac, or shengxiao (/shnng-sshyaoww/ ‘born resembling’), is a repeating cycle of 12 years, with each year being represented by an animal and its reputed attributes. Traditionally these zodiac animals were used to date the years. In order, the 12 animals are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig. Each year is associated with a zodiac animal. 2018 is the year of the Dog. The last dog year was 2006. Characteristics for people born this year are communicative, serious, and responsible in work.

Baci Dolci "Sweet Kiss" Red Wine
|
We brought Baci Dolci to our store last May and it has been a huge success. This year, it was one of the wines in Salisbury's recent
Wine About Winter event. As a result of exposure during
Wine About Winter, it has become one of our better selling wines.
Baci Dolci is Italian and translates to "Sweet Kiss" and is made of 50% Marzemino and 50% Merlot grapes
A delicate, slightly frizzante wine with an intense, ruby red color. Fresh strawberry & black cherry aromas with hints of roses. Cherry pie flavors, medium-full bodied with refreshing sparkle to balance the semi- sweet finish.
Excellent as aperitif or with pizza, pasta or any other casual fare.
